Agnès Ricroch is Senior Lecturer at AgroParisTech, France, and Adjunct Professor at the Pennsylvania State University, U.S., where she teaches biotechnology and bioethics. She is a researcher at the Paris-Sud University, France, where her research focuses on green biotechnology and risk assessment. In 2015, Ricroch became a member of the Academy of Agriculture of France and is the secretary of the Life Sciences section since 2016 and the chair of the think tank “New biotechnologies for agriculture and food“.
In 2015, she was part of the International Directory of 23 Women in Biotechnology (Woman in Biotechnology Law and Regulation).
Ricroch has published five books, twenty-three chapters and has contributed to more than seventy scientific articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. She holds a Ph.D. in science and obtained an HDR (Ability to conduct research) from Paris-Sud Orsay University in genetic resources and plant breeding.
