Nicole Polsterer

Sustainable Consumption Campaigner, FERN

Nicole Polsterer is a sustainable consumption campaigner at the forest and rights non-governmental organization Fern, where she works on mitigating the impacts of EU’s imports of agriculture commodities on Latin America’s tropical forests.

She is an expert on sustainable consumption and production-related issues, and has 17 years of professional experience in development and environmental cooperation. She has previously worked for the UN Development and Environmental Programs, the Sustainable Europe Research Institute, the European Commission and the European Parliament. Polsterer holds an MA in Management Education from the Global Alliance.
