Sarah Singla

Vice-President, APAD and Arable Farmer

Sarah is a farmer in southern France in the Aveyron region and vice-president of APAD, the Association for the Promotion of a Sustainable Agriculture. In 2010, she took over her family’s 100ha farm, an arable farm in conservation agriculture since 1980. The main cultivated crops include winter peas, alfalfa, wheat, triticale and a very big diversity of cover crops, one of the prerequisites of the conservation agriculture system. She was a laureate of the Nuffield scholarship in 2011.
