Alessandro Fusacchia is an Italian member of Parliament, secretary of Movimenta, a new Italian political organization and, a novelist.
He is currently serving in the Chamber of Deputies as a member of the permanent commission on Culture, Science and Education and has promoted and established the Inter-parliamentary group on Artificial Intelligence.
He has previously served as Head of Cabinet at the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).
He was Special Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy (May 2013-February 2014) and Special Advisor to the Minister of Economic Development for European Affairs, Youth and Innovation (March 2012 – April 2013).
Previously he was an official at the Council of the European Union dealing with global economic governance (G20/IMF). He has also worked for the Italian Prime Minister’s office in Rome as part of the G8 team, as well as for the Italian Ministry of International Trade.
He taught at the LUISS Guido Carlo School of Government in Rome and at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris. In 2007 he co-founded RENA, the Italian association of young professionals promoting innovation, merit, youth empowerment and a new generation of local public policies.
