Cédric Archambeau is leading the science underpinning several Machine Learning & AI services offered in Amazon Web Services, with R&D teams in Berlin, Palo Alto, New York, and Seattle. These services put machine intelligence in the hand of every developer, enabling them to build intelligent software applications.
His goal is to advance machine intelligence to benefit people and he is interested in Bayesian decision making and algorithms that learn to learn. He is a guest lecturer in the Statistics Department of the University of Oxford and regularly speaks at academic and industrial conferences. He holds over 10 US Patents and has published over 60 academic papers in peer reviewed conferences and journals. He also serves as a reserve member of the AI High-level Expert Group at the European Commission.
