Michelle Rohrer is Senior Vice-President and Global Head of Product Development Regulatory and Policy at Roche. In her current position, Rohrer leads the global Regulatory organization overseeing Roche’s regulatory development strategies and policy efforts worldwide. Michelle is on international assignment and located in Basel, Switzerland until summer 2020. In 2017, she joined the Board of TransCelerate on behalf of Roche. In 2015 she was an industry representatives to the FDA-industry team which negotiated the Prescription Drug User Fee Act VI. Since 2014, she has served on the Science Advisory Board for the UCSF-Stanford Center for Excellence in Regulatory Science. In 2013, Rohrer was named by the SF Business Times as one of “The Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business.” She joined Genentech as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in 1993 and later became a Clinical Scientist before moving to Regulatory.
