The EU Green Deal and agriculture: from ambition to reality

Deepen your expertise with POLITICO insiders

ONLINE
Half Day Workshop

In light of the current situation, we have made all our workshops virtual.

The EU has big green ambitions when it comes to climate policies. The green deal is at the core of Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s agenda and the proposed climate law sets out a clear pathway to net-zero emissions. The agricultural sector is both directly affected by climate change and responsible for it as a significant emitter of greenhouse gases. This workshop will analyze the role of the EU’s agricultural policies in the EU green deal debate, who the key policy makers are in the process and discuss the current policy developments. Get up to date on the EU green deal, the CAP and the Commission’s agriculture priorities.
