Diony Lebot became deputy chief executive officer in charge of the control functions (risk, finance and compliance) in 2018. Since joining Société Générale in 1986, she has developed a strong experience in various corporate and investment banking activities and in group functions in France and internationally. She previously held the position of Société Générale Group chief risk officer since 2016. Lebot was deputy head of coverage and investment banking and chief executive officer for global banking and investor solutions western Europe from 2012 to 2016. She was appointed chief executive officer of Société Générale Americas in 2007 and became a member of the Société Générale Group Management Committee. Prior to that she held several positions within the Structured Finance activity, Financial Engineering as well as head of asset finance before joining the Corporate Coverage Department. Lebot holds a master’s degree in finance and taxation from Paris I University.
