Kaja Kallas is a Member of the European Parliament representing the Estonian Reform Part as part of the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats of Europe. She was elected in 2014 and is a Member of Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, Delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, and serves as Vice-Chair to the Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee. Previously, Kallas was a Member of the Parliament of Estonia from 2011 to 2014, where she Chaired the Economics Affairs Committee. Prior to that, she served as the Head of the Department of Competition Law at Borenius Attorneys in Estonia from 2006 to 2011. She holds a MBA from the Estonian Business School and a BA in Law from the University of Tartu.
