Marion Solletty is Deputy Policy News Editor at POLITICO, planning and coordinating the policy coverage across the Brussels newsroom and beyond for our subscription services. Prior to that, she was a reporter in the Brussels newsroom covering environmental policy and as such launched POLITICO’s sustainability coverage.

Prior to joining POLITICO she was working at franceinfo, France Télévisions’ online news platform, which she helped launch in 2011. As a reporter there, she covered the United States presidential election of 2012. She then became a news editor and as such supervised coverage of the 2014 European Parliament election and of the 2015 Paris Climate Conference. Before that, she worked at LeMonde.fr on the breaking news desk, where she reported on major news events. She also wrote for Slate.fr and ParisTech Review.

Solletty is an engineer by education, graduating from Ecole Centrale Paris before going on to study journalism at Sciences Po in Paris. Originally from Southern France, she lived in Washington D.C., Paris, and now calls Brussels home.
