Sixtine Bouygues is the Deputy Director-General for Communication at the European Commission, a position she has held since 2015. From 2012 to 2015, Bouygues served as the Director for Strategy and Corporate Communication. From 2010 to 2012, she served as a Director in DG Communication. From 2002 to 2003, she served as the Head of the European Commission’s Representation in France. In 2008, she founded Françaises d’Europe, a network of French female managers in European Institutions, in order to help women to connect and exchange as well as meet with political leaders. She holds a BA in Italian and English as well as a post-graduate degree in translation.
